Performance Management

Performance management includes activities to ensure that goals are consistently met in an effective and efficient manner. It con focus on the performance of an organization, department, processes of a product or services, employees. But how can we honestly gauge our own performance? Performance management reminds us that being busy is not the same as producing results; that training, strong commitment and hard work alone are not results. The major contribution of performance management is its focus on achieving results. Performance Management redirects our efforts towards effectiveness and away from busyness. Everyone in the organization must be doing what they are supposed to be doing to ensure that strategies are implemented effectively; that systems and processes in the organization be applied in the right way to the right things.
