We are preparing a module for Typhoon Preparedness and other safety matters that would help our local fisherman , boat operators and even our community.
I hope that after we finish this module it will be helpful atleast to minimize accidents , prepare for the next Typhoon and to have knowledge what people do to survive in times of calamity.

Glenn,
You are absolutely right. Relief and calamity funds should be coursed through the shortest channel, possibly, directly to the end users - the flood and typhoon victims. Of course, there are legitimate organizations, NGO's and various sectarian groups which are sincere enough in the relief efforts and who can be worthy of our trust in receiving our donations, in whatever form those may be.
Whatever is it that your company is planning to help our poor brethren worst struck by previous nature's wrath, you have to be careful enough in assessing the effectiveness of such efforts.
