Total announced that its affiliate
TOTAL & E&P Borneo and its partners made a significant new gas and condensate discovery in Block B offshore Brunei.
Well ML-5, located in a water depth of 65 meters and around 50 kilometers from the coastline, was drilled 8 kilometers to the south of the Maharaja Lela/ Jamalulalam field in a new, deep fault panel by the jackup Ensco108.It discovered gas with condensate in high pressure/high temperature formations (HP/HT)
